Top notes that start the scent are bergamot, grapefruit, and black currant. Bergamot is a citrus plant native to France that is similar to a lemon, but with a more fragrant, tropical scent. Grapefruit, a cross between an orange and a pomelo, provides an aromatic smell. Black currant finishes off the top notes with a rich, fruity blend of juicy wild berries and ripe current. In the heart of the fragrance, the nose detects rose, red berries, cherry, and plum. Roses have a deep, velvety smell. This rich, floral scent perfectly complements the fruitiness of red berries, cherries, and plums. The fruity smells are quite distinct, though. Red berries and plums have a sweet, acidic, and sour nuance, while the cherries have a powdery hay, sweet, almond flavor. At the foundation of the fragrance, base notes of vanilla, musk, and cedar take center stage. The rich scent of vanilla goes along well with the earthy scent of musk. The woodsy cedar adds just the right ending.
